BCM communicates with the on-board computers via the vehicle bus, an internal communication network that interconnects components inside the vehicle whose main application is controlling load drivers - actuating relays that in turn perform actions in the vehicle such as locking the doors or dimming the salon overhead lamp. BCM enables the linking of inputs and outputs through powerful microprocessors.
